Policy Purpose

This policy aims to motivate employees by recognizing and rewarding high performance, while maintaining equity and competitiveness in compensation. It ensures consistency and fairness in the administration of merit-based salary increases and promotions across the organization.

Policy Scope

This policy applies to all full-time faculty and staff members of the university, with the increment policy specifically applicable to full-time faculty and staff, while the bonus policy is exclusively applicable to staff members. Temporary and contract employees are excluded from this policy unless otherwise specified in their employment contracts.
