Student Publications

Policy

The University of Dubai (UD) provides its students with various opportunities to help them develop their interests and abilities. It further encourages the formation of societies and clubs under the supervision of the Department of Student Services. Students may promote their activities through various publication venues.

However, the University wants to ensure that all student-related publications, whether printed or on-line, serve the purpose intended for, and are in line with published UD values (Policy A1.9).

In this respect, all student publications must receive the appropriate approvals (as listed below) prior to their submission for publication. The author(s) must make all the appropriate modifications suggested by the reviewers. Once finalized, material can be sent to the Graphics Design Office, the IT Department or the Procurement Office for further processing.

Students are urged to review the points set in Policy S 6.14 (Student Rights and Responsibilities) to ensure full adherence. Violators of UD policies will subject the student to disciplinary action as stated in Policy S6.11 (Student Disciplinary Action).
