Lost and Found
The Department of Student Services (DSS) is the central repository for valuables found by members of the UD community. We keep items safe & secure and also we proactively work to return belongings to their owners.

Lost & found items are forwarded to the DSS for cataloging and will be kept at the Department of Student Services for one (1) year. Items that are not claimed, will be removed from the inventory and will either be discarded or donated to a local charity.
If you find a lost item in the UD facility, please hand the items to the UD Campus Security or to the Security desk on the ground floor.
- All received items are logged and categorized.
- If any of the items found match our inquiry records, DSS we will call or send an email notifying the owner of the lost & found item.
a. The owner should then visit the DSS in person to identify the lost & found lost item.
b. DSS will ask you several questions to ascertain whether the items found belong to the rightful owner.
c. For electronic items found, DSS will ask you to enter relevant passwords, if any, or give more personal details to identify the items.
d. Finally, you will be asked to sign a receiving note stating that you have identified and claimed your lost item.
