2. Implementation and Monitoring

UD’s leadership and management are responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and enforcement of this policy.  In support of this commitment, UD has established Policy A 1.9 – UD Expectations and the Code of Conduct, Values, and Ethics, which emphasizes each member's responsibility to uphold principles of multiculturalism, ethical behavior, character, and respect for others. The University affirms that no one has the right to malign another person based on race, gender, age, religion, nationality, disability, or any other personal attribute.

To uphold these standards, UD has established confidential reporting mechanisms that allow individuals to report suspected violations safely and without fear of retaliation. All reports of discrimination, harassment, or unethical conduct will be thoroughly investigated. Offenders found guilty of misconduct will be subject to strict disciplinary actions, which may include termination of employment and legal proceedings.

3. Reporting and Recording Adverse Incidents

UD is dedicated to meeting the needs of its community while striving for excellence. We take all student, faculty, and staff complaints seriously, addressing them transparently and objectively in accordance with S6.20 Student Grievance Policy and Procedures and FP 5.11 Faculty and Professional Staff Grievance Policy and Procedures.
