ENGL 110 English 1

The purpose of this course is to develop the ability of students to read and write in English to further achieve the language skills they need for academic success. It aims to enlarge their vocabulary, enrich their knowledge of ways to express ideas and reduce the number of mistakes that students make when writing English. It also teaches the principles of organization used in written English.
