EMTH 100 Calculus I for Engineering
This is the first in a three-course sequence in Calculus intended for students majoring in engineering. It emphasizes the
understanding of concepts, and using them to solve physical problems. The course covers two-dimensional analytic
geometry, functions, limits, continuity, the derivative, rule of differentiation, applications of the derivative, definite
integrals, and indefinite integrals.
Prerequisite
C or better in Basic Math, or three
years of high school mathematics
and a score of at least 75%
