SHC 664 Strategic Human Capital for Agile Organizations
This course focuses on Strategic Human Capital, which assists in the creation of a Sustainable Competitive Advantage by converting the workforce into a growth engine by aligning human capital practices with innovative strategic approach and how the new challenges are impacting these functions (e.g., technology and digitalization, internationalization, etc. in the UAE/GCC. This also highlights the need of harnessing culture to create leadership, increase integration, and enhance morale. Furthermore, the course assists in defining a clear agenda for how to enhance employee engagement in order to transform the organization to be sufficiently flexible and adaptable to respond quickly in today's unpredictable environment. CLO 3 in this course is aligned to SDG 9 (Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation and entrepreneurship through startups)
