CS 504 Machine Learning
This course provides an in-depth understanding of Machine Learning (ML) principles and practices affecting cybersecurity. As such, students will be able to explore ways to apply artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to solve security issues in the field of malware classification, threat detection, and network analysis. In this context, topics include learning ML techniques known to combat cyber-attacks, leveraging ML to identify abnormalities or irregularities in applications, networks, and systems, providing improved prevention and recovery strategies using artificial intelligence algorithms, and understanding the positive and negative impacts of machine learning on Cybersecurity.
