CS 501 Privacy and Network Security

This course gives a thorough understanding of information privacy and security concerns arising in the current computing world. It provides the knowledge and hands-on experience to operate and work with computer and network infrastructure devices and operating systems in a real-life environment. Some of the topics include: network troubleshooting of cybersecurity and wireless technologies, higher layer application protocols, cloud technologies, Big Data, Internet of Things, and preventive technological measures to combat security and privacy attacks.
